Role Overview
We’re looking for a well-rounded retail leader who understands that strong stores are built through people, consistency, and attention to detail.
As a Junior Assistant Store Manager in Ballito, your role is to support the Store Manager in creating a store environment that runs smoothly, feels energised, and delivers a consistently high standard of service. This is a hands-on leadership role, one where you’re expected to guide the team, step into challenges, and contribute meaningfully to both culture and performance.
This position suits someone who leads with both empathy and structure, someone who can connect with people while still holding the line on standards.
Requirements:
3–5 years’ experience as an Assistant Store Manager
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Supporting the Store Manager in maintaining a well-run, high performing store environment.
Keeping daily operations efficient, structured, and aligned with store priorities.
Leading from the floor setting the tone through your presence, energy, and work ethic.
Guiding the team through daily responsibilities, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Assisting in developing team capability through ongoing support and feedback.
Managing customer interactions with confidence, care, and professionalism.
Identifying operational gaps and taking a solution-based approach to fixing them.
Supporting stock flow, merchandising standards, and overall store presentation.
Stepping into leadership when needed and ensuring continuity in store performance.
